For our first outing at the prestigious Kips Bay Show House, we created an office for a dog-loving lady. Naming the room, โLady and the Tramp, a fetching retreat,โ we designed a cheery, inspiring space โ ideal for a fashionable woman and her equally stylish canine companion. Blending graphic black and white punch with complexion enhancing tones of coral and dramatically effeminate window dressing, the space vibrated with energy and a warm glow. Although structured and balanced in a 18th century way, we incorporated wittily modern, custom furnishings that banished the stuffiness of the era in favor of a fresher, more contemporary feel.
