White Webb

Africa Anyone?

Design Log

26 Sep

As I mentioned in the Spring 2011 edition of World White Webb, one of my side projects is to serve as a creative consultant for a fascinating website, called Africa.com. In addition to being the go-to destination for all things African, it disseminates weekly newsletters recapping the world’s must-read stories about Africa. In the early days, these communiqués focused on breaking news items and business & finance reporting.

Thanks to overwhelming demand (and a little assist from me), Africa.com recently launched a companion newsletter covering the fields of travel and arts & culture. Ever thought about gorilla trekking in Rwanda? Curious about the most coveted, limited edition furniture and design collectibles from South Africa? Did you miss the hottest African fashions from the recent New York Fashion Week? If you’re looking to broaden your cultural horizons or travel wish list, I promise you some exciting, entertaining and informative reads. To sign up and receive the weekly newsletter, click here.
