A most welcome coastal disturbance. Absolutely he A most welcome coastal disturbance.  Absolutely head over heels for this modernist masterpiece designed in 1968 by Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, France.  Villa Nara Mondadori was commissioned by the head of Mondadori Publishing and named for his wife.  After their deaths, it sat unoccupied for almost a decade before being purchased by art collectors in the 1990s, who hired Peter Marino (@petermarinoarchitect) to bring it back to life.
